The Western Sydney Wanderers has doubled down on its motivation to accountable gambling as it extends its partnership with GambleAware for a further year.
The Australian football club will proceed to perform with the organisation’s Business of Dependable Gambling by the finish of the 2021/22 time.
As part of GambleAware’s ‘Reclaim the Game’ initiative, the Wanderers will collaborate with the charity on a new marketing campaign to deal with the normalisation of sports activities betting and promoting.
On Monday 15 November, the club inaugurated its renewed partnership with three digital spots, produced by imaginative corporation Chisel, that were being revealed on the GambleAware NSW YouTube channel. The short films feature players from its ISUZU Ute A-League and A-League Women’s sides encouraging lovers to target on the activity and not gambling.
Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas reiterated the great importance of this initiative to the club, saying: “It is really critical to us to keep on to make on our partnership with GambleAware as this is an situation that affects a good deal of our Western Sydney community.
“Together with GambleAware and their campaign to Reclaim the Match, we hope to teach and develop greater recognition of the influence that athletics betting can have in professional sport.”
